Ladle turret

The ladle turret is commonly known as a continuous casting machine. The slewing bearing of the ladle turret typically uses a three-row roller structure, such as models 132, 45, 2500/2800/3150/3550, etc. This type of slewing bearing has a high load-carrying capacity and is mainly used in heavy-duty applications.

It consists of three ferrules. The upper and lower rows of rollers are distributed horizontally. The radial force is borne by the three rows of vertically arranged rollers, so it can withstand axial forces and overturning moments from both directions. The ladle rotary table is the key equipment of the continuous casting machine. It is used to carry and support the ladle for pouring. It is usually installed between the molten steel receiving span and the pouring span column. The designed rotation radius of the ladle ensures that the ladle nozzle is at the specified position above the tundish when pouring steel. Use the crane on the side of the molten steel receiving span to place the ladle on the turntable, and rotate it through the turntable to stop the ladle above the tundish to supply it with molten steel. The poured empty bales are rotated through the rotary table and then transported back to the molten steel receiving span. The product has high requirements on load-bearing capacity and safety performance, so three-row roller structure slewing bearings are often used.
